The software supports the simultaneous measurement and visualization of multiple land parcels within a single plan, including intermediate distances. Measurement units can be customized to feet, inches, yards, or meters, catering to various regional standards.

Notably, A2+ integrates overlaying data from the French land registry directly onto the map interface, significantly enhancing measurement accuracy—an essential feature for geometers and land surveyors.

The application facilitates saving, editing, and exporting plans in both KML format—compatible with platforms like Google Earth, Google Maps, World Wind, and SketchUp—and DXF format tailored for AutoCAD workflows. It also supports importing KML files and visualizing customizable cumulative WMS layers, enriching spatial analysis capabilities.

Available in multiple languages—including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Japanese—A2+ ensures accessibility for diverse users.

The tool offers four operational modes:

• GPS Mode: The user confirms sequential ground points based on real-time GPS positioning.
• GPS Auto Mode: The application automatically captures points at user-defined intervals (5 to 120 seconds), allowing hands-free outline tracing by moving along the land. The mode can be paused or resumed flexibly.
• Manual Mode: Users manually select points on the map without physical movement.
• Mixed Mode: Combines GPS-based point collection with manual adjustments—useful in challenging terrains or restricted access areas.

Measurement calculations are performed and displayed dynamically with each input, providing immediate feedback in units such as square meters, square feet, square yards, acres, or hectares.

The measurement units are configurable for both linear distances (meters, inches, feet, yards) and surface areas (m², ft², yd², acres, hectares). Map display options include standard Map, Satellite, Hybrid views—as well as additional layers from services like OSM, MapBox, and Google Maps—with support for custom WMS layers overlays. GP S accuracy settings (100m, 10m, 5m) allow users to restrict point collection based on positional precision standards.
